"THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS!"

Kind regards

YOU KNOW THEY SAY, "LESS IS MORE." You wanna see 'less is more?' Oh my goodness . . . check this out! Less has never been more! The choreographer Bob Fosse is a genius - period.

THIS IS PURE JOY! IT'S MY MY FAVOURITE OF FAVOURITES!
HELP ME, JANICE! (This is like my novel).

Okay, so no raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens’, but, these really are a few of my favourite things.

Next, one of the greatest ballerinas – ever. SYLVIE GUILLEM. Here she’s dancing the Grand Pas Classique. It only lasts two minutes.

No kidding . . . in my humble opinion, it’s as close to perfection as you’ll find. Pure, crisp, clean and brilliant. THIS is classical ballet technique at its best.

Edit: My friend just watched it. She said, "She looks like an insect." I hate to admit it, but she really, really does!

(Some annoying bloke is talking in the background for the first 20 seconds. Just ignore him).

TIGH BEG. Oban. Scotland. 2012. There's nothing like waking in the morning and finding a beautiful loch in your front garden. God, I love this place.
Neighbors? What neighbors?
Oh, I know it's not kind to laugh at other people's misfortunes, but . . .
FLASH MOB. If you love THE SOUND OF MUSIC, you'll probably double-love this!
This is BARYSHNIKOV AT HIS BEST, IN ONE OF THE FINEST PIECES OF CHOREOGRAPHY IN THE WORLD. (BY TWYLA THARP). If you want to skip to the best bit, (well . . . my favorite section), start at 7.50 mins. Maybe you'll love it and then watch it from the start. Hope so, because Baryshnikov's solo (starts at 3.12 mins) is really worth seeing!
It's mad!
BARYSHNIKOV IN A CHORUS LINE!
I love the musical, A CHORUS LINE. After buying the LP when I was 15, I was so inspired, I auditioned for dance school, won a scholarship, trained, and became a professional ‘contemporary’ dancer. All I ever really wanted was to kick my legs up in a chorus line and sing my heart out. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sing and I didn’t have the diva-technique to make that particular dream come true. Years later, working as a choreographer, I remember Louis Spence’s always used to say, “Still got it, girl!” I guess, truth be known, I never really had it. I also remember when I was 16, my mum wrote to Jim’ll Fix It, asking if he could fix it for me to dance with Hot Gossip. She sent a colour photo of me - (in her greenhouse) - in a jazzy pose, topless. I clearly remember wearing skin-tight, fluorescent green, tiger-striped trousers, a studded dog collar, and a rather effeminate pout. We never heard back from Jim’ll Fix It. Perhaps it was for the best.
